Since opening their first store in New York City in 2008, Artichoke Basilleโ€™s Pizza has expanded to twelve hugely successful locations across the country.

Located at 321 E 14th St, New York, NY 10003, Artichoke Basille's Pizza operates as a pizza restaurant serving New York in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as pizza takeout, restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amโ€“5 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Artichoke Basille's Pizza at (212) 228-2004; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, artichokepizza.com.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Visiting from California. This was my third of a spot to try and beyond the best. I would definitely come back again especially when I visit NYC again. I highly recommend skipping other NYC pizza places and come here. The artichoke pizza was delicious!! The size and value was great!

If youโ€™re a New Yorker or visiting New York City for the first time, Artichoke Basilleโ€™s Pizza is a must-visit. This place is not just about pizza, itโ€™s a New York food experience. ๐Ÿ• Food (5/5) The food absolutely deserves five stars. The Artichoke slice is legendary for a reason. It is rich, creamy, bold, and unlike anything youโ€™ll find at a typical pizza spot. The portion size alone sets it apart. One slice is massive and easily more filling than two standard NYC slices. The Margherita slice is another favorite of mine. Simple, fresh, and consistently delicious. The Crab slice is also excellent and worth trying if you want something different and well-executed. I donโ€™t eat pork, so I havenโ€™t personally tried the pepperoni or vodka pepperoni slices, but they are extremely popular and clearly loved by many regulars. Iโ€™ve been coming here since around 2008, and there has never been a single visit where the food disappointed. Iโ€™ve recommended this place to friends and family over the years, and no one has ever regretted coming here. Yes, the slices are more expensive than a typical $1โ€“$2 NYC slice, but the portion size and quality fully justify the price. ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ Service (4/5) Serv

Great tasting pizza. Wish the spot had stools or seating area. I ordered a vodka pepperoni sicilian . Should've just gotten the regular cheese pepperoni Sicilian instead. Vodka was too much. Great location. And famous for their artichoke slice. BTW its really big! Give it a try sometime.

The wait time is too long, probably as it gets too many orders. The vodka pizza was great, but whatโ€™s amazing is the spinach artichoke. It was creamy, hot, buttery and slides right into the mouth. And the slices are too huge that the family of 6 had it for next dayโ€™s breakfast.

I recently tried the Artichoke Slice at Artichoke Basilleโ€™s Pizza, and I have to say-it was easily one of the best slices Iโ€™ve had in New York City! This isnโ€™t your typical slice; itโ€™s massive, rich, and incredibly indulgent. The crust is thick and crisp, providing the perfect base for the generous layers of creamy white sauce and gooey melted cheese. What really stood out were the chunks of artichoke hearts-abundant, flavorful, and perfectly balanced against the richness of the sauce. Be warned: this slice is very heavy, so if you have a smaller appetite, itโ€™s definitely something you could share with a friend. But if you're feeling hungry or just want to treat yourself, it's absolutely worth digging into solo. Itโ€™s not your average New York slice-itโ€™s more like a full meal. The service was quick and efficient, which is always appreciated in a busy city spot. There were a few standing tables both inside and outside, which made it easy to grab a quick bite without a long wait. If youโ€™re in NYC and craving something different from the usual cheese or pepperoni, the Artichoke Slice is a must-try. Creamy, cheesy, and full of flavor-this slice lives up to the hype!
